Ardene is a dynamic and fashion-forward retailer seeking an experienced Retail Sales Associate to join our team.

As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth. Your primary objective will be to ensure that every customer has a positive shopping experience, while also maintaining a high level of store visual merchandising standards.

About the Role

This role involves assisting with all aspects of visual, merchandising, and marketing directives. You will collaborate closely with management to ensure efficient store operations and contribute to creating a friendly and inclusive work environment.

In the absence of senior colleagues, you will be responsible for overseeing all store operations, including opening and closing procedures, stockroom maintenance, customer service, and team supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure outstanding customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere, greeting every customer, and addressing their needs effectively.
  • Maintain store appearance by adhering to company standards for visual merchandising, re-stocking, and ensuring cleanliness throughout the store.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the point-of-sale.
  • Support store managers in implementing company policies and promoting a positive work environment.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • At least 1 year of retail experience, preferably in a similar role.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible attitude towards changing priorities.
