Job Summary

As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in the LNGC Construction and Maintenance process. This role requires a strong background in quality control, with experience in developing and implementing quality management plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop quality auditing plans for LNGC Construction and Maintenance Contractors
  • Define, maintain, and report on Quality Key Performance Indicators for LNGC and Contractors
  • Develop and implement a Quality Management Plan for projects and turnarounds
  • Work with Flange management lead to ensure QA on critical flanges, and QA checks on contractors in the field
Accountabilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing Contractor ITP's, witnessing at hold points, ensuring the weld procedures are reviewed/approved for all construction and fabrication activities for both turnarounds and brownfield projects
  • Overseeing directly or indirectly the activities of contractors to ensure the performed work by the contractors meets the requirements set in drawings, specifications, and contract documents through inspection and test plans (ITP)
  • Monitoring the contractor's quality control program and its associated records throughout construction
  • Auditing contractors QMP
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 10+ years industry experience in Oil and Gas with a minimum of 5 years managing Quality Assurance, Flawless programs or system turnover
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Computer literate - Microsoft applications
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal in English
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Diagnostic and problem-solving skills
