About the Role

Racar Canada Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Power Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative mechanical power systems, conducting research and analysis, and managing projects from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Design and develop mechanical power systems, including power plants, machines, and equipment, to meet the needs of our clients.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and optimize the performance of mechanical systems.
  • Project Management: Manage projects from conception to completion, including planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
  • Supervision and Inspection: Supervise and inspect the installation of mechanical systems to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Develop maintenance standards, schedules, and programs to ensure the optimal performance of mechanical systems.
  • Investigation and Troubleshooting: Investigate mechanical failures or unexpected maintenance problems and develop solutions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Business Development: Assess business opportunities and develop strategies to drive growth and revenue.
  • Leadership and Teamwork: Lead and instruct teams to achieve project goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in mechanical power engineering.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
