About the Role

Racar Canada Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Power Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing mechanical power systems that meet our company's high standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for improving mechanical power system efficiency and performance.
  • Design and develop mechanical power systems, including power plants, machines, and equipment, to meet our company's needs.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot mechanical systems to identify and resolve issues.
  • Supervise and inspect the installation of mechanical systems to ensure they meet our quality standards.
  • Develop and implement maintenance standards, schedules, and programs to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Investigate and resolve mechanical failures or unexpected maintenance problems.
  • Plan and manage projects, including preparing estimates, reports, and design specifications.
  • Supervise and review the work of technicians, technologists, and other engineers.
  • Assess business opportunities and develop strategies to improve our company's mechanical power systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in mechanical power systems design, development, and implementation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
