Job Summary:
The successful candidate will provide assessment, care planning, consultation, intervention, and follow-up services to residents in our 18-bed Children Centre and 97-bed Senior Centre. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively to improve, restore, and maintain residents' functional abilities, while achieving the strategic directions of Evergreen Home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Provide evidence-based interventions and follow-up services to residents
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal resident outcomes
- Maintain current certifications in CPR and adhere to relevant regulations and standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution
- Member in good standing with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists
- Demonstrated clinical experience providing PT assessments and interventions with children and seniors
- Effective interpersonal, organizational, time management, and communication skills
