We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Bookkeeper to join our team at Whistler 99 Courier and Freightways Corporation. As an Accounting Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Accounting Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, including GAAP and tax laws.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping records, including journal entries, ledgers, and financial statements.
- Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Language: Fluency in English.
