Whistler 99 Courier and Freightways Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our team. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and performing various accounting tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial documents.
- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Accounting Tasks: Perform various accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Equipment and Machinery Experience: Familiarity with scanner equipment.
- Security and Safety: Ability to obtain a bondable status.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail, handling repetitive tasks, and working under pressure.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
- Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Schedule: 32 hours per week.
