We are seeking a skilled Finish Carpenter to join our team at Ottawa Finish Carpentry Inc.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for reading blueprints, preparing layouts, and measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.

Key responsibilities include fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware, as well as scheduling and coordinating work on sites and instructing apprentices.

Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the field
  • Permanent employment
  • 40 hours per week
  • English as the primary language of work
Work Environment

The work site environment is noisy and dusty, and the work setting is primarily in construction, renovation, commercial, and residential settings.
