Job Title: Finish Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Finish Carpenter to join our team at Ottawa Finish Carpentry Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for completing finish carpentry work on construction and renovation projects. This includes reading blueprints, preparing layouts, measuring and cutting materials, and installing windows, doors, and other finishes.

Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to determine work requirements
  • Prepare layouts and measurements to ensure accurate installation
  • Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials as required
  • Install windows, doors, stairs, and other finishes
  • Schedule and coordinate work on sites
  • Instruct and train apprentices as needed
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in finish carpentry
  • Ability to work in a noisy and dusty environment
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work at heights
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced construction environment with varying weather conditions. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
