Job Title: Personal Support Worker Overnight

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to provide overnight care and support to seniors in their homes or long-term care facilities. As a Personal Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing companionship, assistance with daily living activities, and promoting the overall well-being of our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide companionship and support to clients, including awake and resting coverage
  • Assist clients with household tasks, such as light meal preparation and housekeeping
  • Assist clients with mobility and transfer
  • Listen, observe, and communicate any concerns or changes in the client's physical, emotional, or environmental condition

Requirements:

  • Valid Personal Support Worker Certificate from a Ministry of Training, Colleges, and Universities or the Ministry of Education approved program
  • Physical ability to meet the demands of the job, including standing, bending, walking, crouching, kneeling, and reaching freely for extended periods
  • Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional personal care and customer service
  • Valid First Aid and Level C CPR
  • Valid Vulnerable Sector Criminal Check
  • Updated TB Test (last 6 months)
  • Proficient verbal and written English communication skills
