Winter Operations Coordinator

About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Winter Operations Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for dispatching and coordinating drivers, assigning route cards, and assisting supervisors with directions.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispatch and coordination of drivers, assigning route cards, and assisting supervisors with directions
- Timely and accurate completion of winter documentation, including driver timesheets
- Monitoring of Winter Plow Units on GPS as required
- Assist in dispatching winter works units and monitoring radio to answer driver calls during winter operations to ensure compliance
- Coordination and filing of paperwork and reports
- Assisting Patrol Supervisor with documentation, as required
- Other general office and administrative duties as assigned
Requirements
- Construction/highway maintenance experience an asset
- Previous experience in the administration or clerical field is an asset
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Ability to work various shifts based on winter weather with a flexible schedule and be on-site in the dispatch office during winter events
- Strong organization and time management skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision
