Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at SAKURA SUSHI COBOURG. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring efficient and safe food handling practices.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and healthy work environment.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and excess inventory.
- Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform inventory management decisions.
- Prepare and submit reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the chef to prepare food order summaries and ensure seamless kitchen operations.
- Maintain knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres and adapt to changing menu offerings.
- Establish work schedules and delegate tasks to team members, ensuring effective time management and productivity.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
