Truck Driver Operations Manager

At Alberta Ltd, we are seeking a skilled Truck Driver Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods across various routes.
Responsibilities- Load and unload goods in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and safety.
- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
- Oversee the condition of vehicles, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform emergency roadside repairs and maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections and maintenance.
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, analyzing data to optimize routes and reduce costs.
- Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo during transportation.
- Air Brake (Z) Endorsement.
- Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
Work EnvironmentThis is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail, handling heavy loads, and working under pressure. You must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
