Job Title: Banquet Captain

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Banquet Captain to join our team at 8157685 Canada LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of banquets and events, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high level of professionalism in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and execute banquets and events, including setup, service, and breakdown
  • Manage banquet staff, including servers, bartenders, and bussers
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and beverages
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner
  • Collaborate with the events team to ensure seamless execution of events
  • Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining equipment
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
Working Conditions:
  • Fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines
  • Standing for extended periods, with regular breaks
  • Occasional lifting and bending
