Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Banquet Captain to join our team at 8157685 Canada LTD. as a key member of our hospitality staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service and a seamless event experience for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food and Beverage Service
    • Prepare and serve specialty food and beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Advise clients on menu selections and make recommendations based on their preferences.
  • Event Coordination
    • Work closely with clients to understand their event requirements and preferences.
    • Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless execution of events.
  • Team Leadership
    • Supervise and train a team of servers and bussing staff to ensure excellent service standards.
    • Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure they are equipped to handle event demands.
  • Client Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and their guests.
    • Respond to client inquiries and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience
    • Previous experience in a hospitality or event service role is an asset.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
    • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
Working Conditions

The Banquet Captain will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent standing and walking required. The ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, is essential.
