**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Department Manager, Produce to join our team at our Fort St. John location. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team, fostering a positive work environment, and driving business growth.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Lead a team of produce department staff, providing coaching, mentoring, and resources to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, open communication, and a customer-first approach.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with store management to achieve sales targets, manage inventory, and maintain store appearance.
  • Ensure accurate stocktaking and inventory management in the produce department.

**Requirements**

  • 2-3 years of experience in a retail or grocery environment, preferably in a leadership or management role.
  • Food Safe Certification.
  • Strong knowledge of produce products, including quality, freshness, and presentation.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
