Job Summary:

The Branch Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the branch, ensuring the success of the company's sales and marketing efforts, and driving business growth. This role demands a highly motivated individual with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Sales Growth: Achieve sales growth and profitability in all areas of the branch, including new and used whole goods product sales within the designated sales territory.
  • Lead and Develop Team: Manage and develop all employees in the branch with the goal of building a motivated and successful workforce that is focused on the long-term success of the company, customers, and employees.
  • Provide Strategic Input: Provide feedback and input into future opportunities and competitive pressures, ensuring the company remains competitive in the market.
  • Manage Branch Operations: Manage branch account receivables in conjunction with the VP of Credit, ensuring timely and accurate payment processing.
  • Sales and Marketing: Sell new and used whole goods product within the designated sales territory, complete all sales documentation in a timely and accurate manner, and keep current on product knowledge and equipment.
  • Asset Management: Achieve asset management goals of turn and aging as well as protection of company assets, including new and used wholegood inventory.
  • Market Share: Achieve Market Share goals as agreed for the long-term success of our manufacturer and the company.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with fellow managers and branches to formulate company-wide initiatives aimed at achieving corporate objectives.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Must have experience in the material handling sales field, with a proven product support background and understanding of the departmental operations.
  • Leadership: A demonstrated ability to lead and motivate staff, with a strong work ethic and dedication to excellence.
  • Education: Relevant post-secondary education is considered an asset.
  • Driver's License: A valid Driver's License and a clean Driver's Abstract are required.
