**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Designer to lead the development of innovative truck body designs that meet the evolving needs of our diverse client base.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Lead the design process for new truck body concepts from ideation to prototype and production, ensuring they meet safety, functionality, and aesthetic standards.
  • Develop detailed design specifications, 3D models, and renderings using CAD software.
  • Work closely with engineers and manufacturing teams to ensure the designs are feasible and cost-effective for mass production.
  • Conduct research and analysis on industry trends, customer needs, and competitor products to inform design decisions.
  • Provide technical expertise in materials, manufacturing techniques, and sustainable design practices.
  • Create and refine product designs while balancing technical requirements, user experience, and cost constraints.
  • Oversee and mentor junior designers, providing guidance and feedback throughout the design process.
  • Test prototypes, gather feedback, and make necessary design adjustments to optimize performance and safety.

**Requirements**

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in industrial design, preferably with a focus on vehicle or truck body design.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, or similar) and 3D modeling.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (e.g., welding, metal fabrication, injection molding, etc.).
  • Knowledge of materials selection and their properties for manufacturing durability and performance.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to innovate within technical constraints.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to interact with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work well in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
