Project Manager, IMIT NSP

Are you a seasoned project manager looking for a new challenge? Do you have a passion for delivering complex projects on time and on budget? We're seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at Plan Group.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead project management procedures from initial award to conclusion, ensuring timely and efficient project implementation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain project integrity and schedule.
  • Perform risk management throughout the project life cycle to minimize risks and their negative impacts.
  • Work closely with the management team to ensure project feasibility and costing within budget.
  • Manage relationships with project partners and clients to deliver innovative solutions within budget.
  • Manage project delivery resources, including employees and subcontractors.
  • Communicate project technical aspects and site activities with relevant stakeholders.
  • Interface with consulting engineers to review and provide recommendations on design implementation and reports.
  • Adhere to and carry out all safety requirements and follow Plan Group's safety guidelines.
  • Contribute to technical proposals and coordinate with team members to develop RFQ/RFP submissions and tender documents.
  • Track project performance and report status and escalate as required.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of related project management experience in the construction industry.
  • Familiarity with construction field concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Related post-secondary education; university degree in engineering preferred.
  • Salary: $90,000+
  • Knowledge of Accubid software and/or estimating experience is considered an asset.
  • Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with scheduling software (i.e. Microsoft Project and/or Primavera).
  • Hold or working towards a Project Management Professional (PMP) designation or equivalent considered an asset.
