About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at Plan Group. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading complex, multi-million dollar projects from initial award to conclusion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project management procedures to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to ensure project implementation meets design and schedule requirements.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks and their negative impacts.
  • Work closely with the management team to ensure project feasibility and costing align with budget.
  • Manage relationships with project partners and clients to deliver innovative solutions within budget.
  • Manage project delivery resources, including employees and subcontractors.
  • Communicate project technical aspects and site activities to stakeholders.
  • Interface with consulting engineers to review and provide recommendations on design implementation.
  • Ensure adherence to safety requirements and Plan Group's safety guidelines.
  • Contribute to technical proposals and coordinate with team members to develop RFQ/RFP submissions.
  • Track project performance and report status as required.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of related Project Management experience in the construction industry.
  • Familiarity with construction field concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Related post-secondary education; university degree in engineering preferred.
  • Knowledge of Accubid software and/or Estimating experience is considered an asset.
  • Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with scheduling software.
  • Hold or working towards a Project Management Professional (PMP) designation or equivalent considered an asset.
