Key Responsibilities
  • You will demonstrate a Safety-First focus, adhering to site-specific health and safety plans and identifying potential hazards.
  • You will work with and lead a team conducting investigations and remediation works related to nuclear or conventional contaminants.
  • You will provide support to geotechnical and construction services staff, conducting works on nuclear facilities and requiring environmental input.
  • You will manage projects related to the nuclear industry, including research assignments, risk assessments, groundwater evaluations, and permitting requirements.
  • You will manage contaminated lands projects, including Phase 1 ESAs, Phase 2 ESAs, remediation, excess soil management, and risk assessments.
Requirements
  • You must have a professional certification (P.Eng., P.Geo).
  • You must have 10 years or more of relevant working experience in environmental site assessment, with working knowledge of relevant regulations.
  • You must have experience related to radiological contaminants, dose assessment, radiation protection processes, and associated instrumentation.
  • You must have prior field experience with soil sampling, remediation projects, and working with subcontractors.
  • You must have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a passion for health and safety.
  • You must have a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for light-duty projects within the area.
