Environmental Sustainability Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Sustainability Specialist to join our team at WSP in Canada. As a key member of our environmental services group, you will be responsible for conducting environmental site assessments, remediation projects, and providing technical expertise to our clients in the nuclear industry.
Key Responsibilities- Environmental Site Assessment: Conduct Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments to identify potential environmental hazards and develop remediation plans.
- Remediation Projects: Lead and manage remediation projects, including soil sampling, remediation design, and implementation.
- Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise to our clients in the nuclear industry, including radiological contaminant assessment, dose assessment, and radiation protection processes.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with our team of environmental professionals to deliver high-quality services to our clients.
- Business Development: Support business development efforts by identifying new business opportunities and developing proposals to secure new clients.
- 10+ Years of Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in environmental site assessment, remediation, and technical expertise in the nuclear industry.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as environmental science, engineering, or a related field.
- Skills: Strong technical skills, excellent communication and project management skills, and ability to work in a team environment.
