Job Title: Millwright

Join our team at Lake Louise Ski Resort & Summer Gondola as a Millwright, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our passenger ropeways and surface lifts.

Job Summary:

The Millwright will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning equipment to ensure the day-to-day operations of the resort run efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine start-up procedures for passenger ropeways
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic problems with associated equipment
  • Assist in training lift operations staff and apprentice millwrights
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with local, national, and international standards and legislation
Requirements:
  • Red Seal Millwright certification
  • Previous ski lift or gondola work experience is an asset
  • Demonstrated aptitude in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics and manuals
  • Ability to troubleshoot machinery and equipment
  • Safety oriented, adhere to OH&S responsibility and requirements
Work Schedule:

7:00am - 5:30pm, 4 On/3 Off
