We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineering Lead to join our team at Kumaran Systems. As a key member of our Application Engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering cutting-edge AI systems.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in leading software development teams and implementing AI technologies using Python. You will be responsible for technical planning, integration, and deployment of AI systems, focusing on Generative AI and AI systems engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Python-based applications and software solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design architectures, and implement scalable and efficient solutions using Azure cloud services.
  • Create and maintain APIs and web services using Python frameworks.
  • Implement and manage data storage solutions on Azure, ensuring reliability, security, and performance.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities.
  • Experience in building and deploying applications on OpenShift Container Platform (OCP), Kubernetes, and Azure.
  • Hands-on experience with AI frameworks like Keras, PyTorch, TensorFlow.
  • Experience developing NLP and Data Science related assets in Python.
  • Strong understanding of coding standards, OOP principles, and design patterns.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics, or related field.
  • Certifications in AI, Machine Learning, or Cloud Computing.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practice.

Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
