Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pastry Chef to join our team at THE GOOD TIME BAKERY. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing our pastry menu, ensuring high-quality products and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement new pastry recipes and menu items
  • Manage and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
  • Supervise and train pastry staff to ensure high-quality products and efficient service
  • Monitor and control food costs and inventory
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
Requirements
  • 3-4 years of experience as a Pastry Chef or in a related role
  • Strong knowledge of pastry arts and techniques
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in culinary arts or related field preferred
Work Environment

THE GOOD TIME BAKERY is a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Pastry Chef, you will be working in a commercial kitchen with a team of experienced bakers and pastry chefs. You will be required to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a hot and humid environment.
