Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Pastry Chef to lead our pastry team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pastry arts, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory.
  • Analyze operating costs and other data to optimize pastry production.
  • Develop and implement new pastry recipes and menus.
  • Supervise and train pastry staff to ensure high-quality products.
  • Collaborate with other chefs to create innovative and delicious dishes.
  • Ensure that all pastry products meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies as needed.
  • Plan menus and ensure that all pastry products meet quality standards.
  • Prepare and cook meals or specialty foods for events and special occasions.
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a pastry role.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of pastry arts and techniques.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
Work Environment

Our pastry team works in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work in a physically demanding environment.
