Senior Geotechnical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Richmond, BC. As a key member of our Geotechnical Practice, you will be responsible for leading and managing geotechnical engineering projects, providing technical expertise, and mentoring junior staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage geotechnical engineering projects from proposal to completion, including budgeting, personnel, and resource allocation.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior staff, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to company procedures.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams, ensuring effective communication and project delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to improve project outcomes and company performance.
Requirements:
  • University degree in Geotechnical, Civil, or Geological Engineering or related field.
  • Senior-level experience in geotechnical engineering, with a proven track record of project management and technical leadership.
  • Professional Engineering Designation in British Columbia or eligibility for registration.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong technical writing and presentation skills, with the ability to prepare high-quality reports and presentations.
