Psychiatrist - Acute Home-Based Treatment

About the Role:
Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a Psychiatrist to join our Acute Home-Based Treatment program. As a Psychiatrist, you will work with a multidisciplinary team to provide intensive outreach and medical management to clients with acute mental health needs in their homes or housing sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the ongoing care of clients
- Provide psychiatric assessment, medication management, and behavioral expertise
- Work in an inter-professional team to deliver high-quality care
Requirements:
- Appointed as medical staff of Vancouver Coastal Health
- Clinical faculty appointment with UBC Faculty of Medicine is highly encouraged
- Experience in community mental health, preferably with marginalized populations
- Demonstrated ability to work in an inter-professional team
