We are seeking a highly skilled Director, Brand Retail Design Experience – Global, with expertise in visual merchandising and retail design to join our Creative Design team. This is a hybrid role based out of our Toronto office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement innovative retail storytelling experiences across global retail partners, including Ulta, Harrods, Sephora, Boots, Selfridges, etc.
  • Design and visualize retail commercial ideas, including renders/3D sketches, storyboards, and drafts.
  • Understand market initiatives and strategic positioning of our FSS, SIS, and other commercial spaces for current and new target audiences.
  • Create plans, manage projects, complete tasks while productively managing team workloads.
  • Review 3D renders and architectural packages to ensure project/commercial space requirements are met.
  • Own and delegate Visual Merchandising brand strategy initiatives in freestanding stores, concessions, and counters.
  • Collaborate with the Creative Director and Retail Director on budgeting and cost allocation for commercial projects.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of people management and/or leadership experience is required.
  • Knowledgeable in VM/store material sustainability and construction costs.
  • Experience in both visual merchandising and retail design.
  • Passionate about building the store of the future.
