Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to lead our internal audit function. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex projects, developing and implementing risk management strategies, and providing expert advice to senior management.
About Us:
The Ministry of Treasury Board and Finance is responsible for overseeing the financial management of the province. Our team works closely with government departments and agencies to ensure that they have the resources and support they need to deliver high-quality services to Albertans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential threats to the organization
- Lead internal audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices
- Provide expert advice to senior management on governance, risk management, and control issues
- Manage complex projects, including budgets, timelines, and resource allocation
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will require a strong background in internal audit, risk management, and governance. You will also need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Salary Range:
$132,652 - $174,329 per year (bi-weekly)
