About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Leisure Travel Agent to join our team at Transat Distribution Canada. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and sales support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice to clients on travel options and destinations;
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals;
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals;
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and product knowledge to provide informed recommendations to clients;
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless customer experiences;
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of sales experience in a retail environment with a proven track record of meeting sales targets;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues;
  • Advanced knowledge of the travel industry and ability to stay up-to-date on industry trends and product knowledge;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines;
  • Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours as required;
  • Ability to obtain TICO or OPC certification if not already held.
