Position Summary

The University of Regina invites applications for a full-time tenure track nursing faculty position. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, comprehensive knowledge of nursing practice, and a demonstrated commitment to teaching, including student advising, recruitment, and retention. The position requires the ability to use a variety of teaching modalities, including on-site and distance delivery. A minimum of one graduate degree in Nursing is preferred, and the ability to practice as a nurse practitioner will be considered an asset. The Faculty of Nursing will consider candidates who have completed a PhD and have a strong research background. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the development of the Faculty of Nursing's research agenda and to participate in the teaching and service activities of the department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach undergraduate and graduate nursing courses
  • Conduct research in nursing and contribute to the development of the Faculty of Nursing's research agenda
  • Participate in the teaching and service activities of the department
  • Develop and maintain a strong research program

Requirements
  • PhD in Nursing or a related field
  • Minimum of one graduate degree in Nursing
  • Ability to practice as a nurse practitioner
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
