  • At Fehrkon Enterprises Ltd., we are seeking a skilled Bakery Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pastry production and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, as well as requisitioning and ordering materials, equipment, and supplies.
  • They will also be responsible for training staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, as well as supervising baking personnel and kitchen staff.
  • The Bakery Assistant will be expected to ensure that the quality of products meets established standards and to inspect kitchen and food service areas.
  • They will also be responsible for operating machinery, organizing and maintaining inventory, and overseeing sales and merchandising of baked goods.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
  • They will also be a team player with excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach.
  • The Bakery Assistant will work 30 hours per week and will be required to work in a supermarket or bakery department.
  • The successful candidate will have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and at least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • They will also be fluent in English and have a strong understanding of food safety and handling procedures.
  • The Bakery Assistant will be a key member of our team and will be responsible for ensuring that our baked goods meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
