Bakery Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Assistant to join our team at Cobs Bread Bakery. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for preparing dough for various baked goods, operating machinery, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods according to recipes or special customer orders
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies
  • Bake mixed dough and batters
  • Ensure the quality of products meets established standards
  • Inspect kitchen and food service areas
  • Operate machinery
  • Organize and maintain inventory
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a bakery or related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and instructions
