Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Administrative Assistant to support the Regional Vice-President of RBC Royal Trust. As the key support officer within the region, you will be responsible for providing timely, efficient, and accurate operational and administrative support to the RVP and the Regional Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate all administrative duties for the RVP and RM, including calendar, meeting, stationery, and expense management
  • Manage all travel, hotel, and car rental arrangements
  • Act as the office manager for RBC Royal Trust for Eastern Canada
  • Coordinate team onboarding and training schedules
  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations, reports, and other documents to support the administration of various national and team initiatives
  • Plan, source, and execute regional team meetings
  • Keep current with the overall calendar of activity of the region (regional events, sales management activities, etc.)
  • Prepare various forms of communication (e.g., letters, notes, cards, etc.) as required by the RVP
  • Assist with other general administrative duties such as taking care of deposits, managing the region's vacation scheduling, scanning, archives management, supporting the client experience, etc.
Requirements
  • 3 years of experience in providing administrative support
  • Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will regularly serve our clients and do business with RBC partners and/or employees across Canada with English and French speaking needs
  • Ability to work effectively with others and act as a professional business partner
  • Excellent organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to multitask and meet key deliverables
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 apps (especially PowerPoint) and ability to quickly learn new systems and software
