VitalAire Canada Inc is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Moncton. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing quality care to patients with respiratory conditions.

About the Job

This is a full-time, permanent position that requires strong cardio-respiratory assessment skills, a valid driver's license, and a clear vulnerable persons check. Previous experience in the healthcare field is an asset, but not necessary. We offer competitive compensation, including a salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on experience, as well as opportunities for growth and development.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide quality care by conducting full respiratory assessments, diagnostics, and evaluating test results;
  • Deliver oxygen therapy, clinical, and ventilatory support to clients while collaborating with referring physicians and ensuring patient safety;
  • Develop respiratory therapy treatment plans in consultation with clients, physicians, and care teams as per prescription and established company best practices;
  • Provide follow-up to clients to evaluate the effects of treatment plans, comfort, and addresses compliance with therapy;
  • Assess clients' home environments for safety, identify and address areas of concern, and perform equipment quality control checks;
  • Liaise with healthcare professionals, provide information/literature to prospective clients, and demonstrate/educate products and services;
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • RT (Clinical Oxygen Consultant) or equivalent qualification;
  • Licensed to practice with the provincial governing body;
  • Strong cardio-respiratory assessment skills;
  • Valid driver's license;
  • Clear vulnerable persons check;
  • Previous experience in the healthcare field an asset;
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft, Google applications, and Android.
