Health and Benefits Lead Associate

As a key member of our team, you will contribute to a wide range of complex analyses and projects involving the design, measurement, analysis, and project management of employer health and group benefit programs. You will work closely with carriers and client teams, help prepare client deliverables, and ensure quality standards are met. This role offers the opportunity to grow your health and benefits business acumen, as well as your financial, project management, and communication skills, by working on cutting-edge projects alongside industry leaders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing project management, financial analysis, and client deliverables across a region
  • Directing benefit plan analysis, design, cost avoidance, risk, and funding strategies
  • Conducting carrier/vendor financial reviews for clients
  • Completing and/or reviewing technical and consulting accuracy on client projects, including developing pricing and employee contributions strategies, modeling plan design alternatives, and calculating reserves
  • Delivering accurate and reliable claim reporting and financial modeling to client teams to support client decisions
  • Partnering with Global Delivery Centers and Client Service teams to review work and deliver superior project management
  • Understanding client needs and identifying products and services to support those needs
  • Understanding and effectively articulating carrier-specific strengths and weaknesses
  • Identifying target carriers/vendors and designing/distributing bid requests (RFP); managing follow-up questions/requests from carriers/vendors
  • Collecting, summarizing, and analyzing proposal findings; making recommendations for finalist carriers
  • Managing placement (renewal/marketing) deliverables for WTW clients with a strict adherence to stated deadlines
  • Supporting communication efforts to clients (renewal/stewardship meetings, relative to placement)
  • Communicating complex financial results to effectively drive client action
  • Building strong relationships internally and collaborating effectively on cross-functional teams
  • Ongoing support of Finance, Operations, and Global Delivery Centres, providing directions for revenue recognition and ensuring accurate attribution of all funds received
  • Development and ongoing support of enhanced internal and external reporting
  • Communication with external teams and WTW teams to obtain needed documentation to ensure commission payments are processed timely and accurately
