Job Summary

At Astellas Pharma Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Privileged Access Management Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive privileged access management strategy and framework. This will involve enforcing privileged access policies, procedures, and guidelines, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and assess privileged access requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement access controls and authentication mechanisms for privileged accounts.
  • Ensure the smooth functioning and operations of the Privileged Access Management Tool (PAM).
  • Monitor and audit privileged user activities to detect and respond to any unauthorized access or suspicious behavior.
  • Regularly review and update access privileges based on business needs and security requirements.
  • Conduct periodic access reviews and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on privileged access management best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies in privileged access management.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to identify and remediate any vulnerabilities or weaknesses in access controls.
  • Participate in incident response activities related to privileged access breaches or security incidents.

Requirements
  • Strong written and verbal English skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in privileged access management or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, access controls, and risk assessment.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.
  • Experience with privileged access management tools and technologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Privileged Access Manager (CPAM) are a plus.
  • Familiarity with identity governance and compliance requirements.
  • Knowledge of identity management tools and solutions.
