This position is based remotely in Canada.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Privileged Access Management Engineer to oversee and manage privileged access to critical systems and sensitive data within our organization.

As a Privileged Access Management Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems by implementing and maintaining effective access controls and monitoring privileged user activities.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, Implement, and Update a Comprehensive Privileged Access Management Strategy and Framework
  2. Enforce Privileged Access Policies, Procedures, and Guidelines
  3. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams to Identify and Assess Privileged Access Requirements
  4. Design and Implement Access Controls and Authentication Mechanisms for Privileged Accounts
  5. Ensure the Smooth Functioning and Operations of the Privileged Access Management Tool (PAM)
  6. Monitor and Audit Privileged User Activities to Detect and Respond to Unauthorized Access or Suspicious Behavior
  7. Regularly Review and Update Access Privileges Based on Business Needs and Security Requirements
  8. Conduct Periodic Access Reviews and Ensure Compliance with Regulatory Standards
  9. Provide Training and Guidance to Employees on Privileged Access Management Best Practices
  10. Stay Up-to-Date with the Latest Industry Trends and Emerging Technologies in Privileged Access Management
  11. Collaborate with IT Teams to Identify and Remediate Vulnerabilities or Weaknesses in Access Controls
  12. Participate in Incident Response Activities Related to Privileged Access Breaches or Security Incidents
  13. Collaboration and Communication:
  14. Work Closely with Internal and External Stakeholders to Ensure Smooth PAM Operations
  15. Communicate Effectively with Team Members, Clients, and Vendors
  16. Participate in Meetings and Discussions Related to PAM Planning and Improvements
