About the Role

The Ottawa Department of Medicine is seeking a highly skilled Endocrinologist to join our team as an Associate Clinician Scientist. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced clinician to contribute to the growth and development of our Endocrinology and Metabolism program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage outpatients with adrenal and pituitary disorders, as well as diabetes, thyroid, and other endocrine disorders.
  • Participate in the Endocrinology inpatient consultation service and on-call coverage.
  • Contribute to the teaching of fellows, residents, and medical students.
  • Participate in research and education initiatives at the University of Ottawa.
Requirements
  • Endocrinologist with a clinical and academic focus in pituitary and adrenal disorders.
  • Fellowship training in relevant areas is required.
  • Masters or PhD in a relevant area of research is advantageous.
  • Licensed or eligible to practice medicine in Ontario.
  • Certification in Endocrinology and Metabolism by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
  • Member of or eligible for membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association.
