Laboratory Analyst

Bureau Veritas is seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Analyst to join our team in Saint-Laurent, QC. As a Laboratory Analyst, you will be responsible for providing general support in the analysis of samples and performing complex sample preparation.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform analyses on samples and complex samples preparation
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) to ensure accuracy and quality of work
- Ensure that quality control criteria are met for all reported data
- Understand and troubleshoot analyses
- Provide input to corrective action procedures
- Ensure deadlines are met and that the equipment is appropriately maintained
- Use summary reports to plan and organize work
- Diploma and/or equivalence in a scientific field
- Experience in laboratory (strong asset)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good time-management, communication, multi-tasking and priority setting skills
- Dynamic, energetic, motivated and positive outlook
- Work schedule: day/evening and every second Saturday or Sunday
- Needs to be available for overtime (1-2h/day) from May to December (high season)
- Status: Full time, 37.5h/week
