Work Environment

As a Heavy Construction-Equipment Operator, you will work outdoors in various locations, including construction sites and industrial areas. You will be exposed to dusty and noisy environments, and you must be willing to relocate to different sites as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy equipment such as graders, asphalt spreaders, pavers, and rollers to perform tasks such as grading, paving, and asphalt finishing.
  • Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks to ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Secure special attachments to equipment as required.
  • Operate GPS and other navigation equipment to ensure accurate and efficient navigation.
  • Operate two-way radios and other communication equipment to stay in touch with team members and management.
  • Perform minor repairs to equipment to minimize downtime and ensure efficient operations.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience operating heavy construction equipment.
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Ability to work outdoors in dusty and noisy environments.
  • Willingness to relocate to different sites as required.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and handle heavy loads.
