Business Development Director

We are seeking a highly experienced Business Development Director to join our team at Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the development of business growth strategies and drive profitable opportunities across the region.
As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing commercial direction on opportunities, ensuring alignment with the company's global priorities and regional objectives. Your expertise in deal structuring, commercial strategy, and execution planning will be essential in maximizing the value proposition of our products and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business growth strategies to drive profitable opportunities across the region.
- Provide commercial direction on opportunities, ensuring alignment with the company's global priorities and regional objectives.
- Lead the development of suitable commercial strategies, considering the execution plan and maximizing the value proposition of our products and services.
- Drive growth and profitable opportunities by challenging the teams to expand the Veolia portfolio offering and market pricing.
- Create a culture of customer centricity built on best practices through value generation, industry and application knowledge, and expertise.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
- At least 10 years of industry experience in sales or commercial functions.
- Previous experience in extended-scope structured projects, long-term services, water outsourcing contracts, and projects with financing.
- Excellent Customer Focus – Shows commitment to customer success, understands customer needs, and ensures the solution meets these needs.

Compensation Package
The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
