Business Development Director

We are seeking a results-driven professional to lead our client's business development efforts in the Toronto area. This hybrid role requires you to be within a commutable distance to the office, blending remote work flexibility with in-person collaboration.

The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of B2B sales experience targeting Fortune 500 companies, with no more than 3 job changes in the last 10 years. They will also have a proven track record of new business development in marketing solutions or professional services.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. New Business Identification: Identify potential business opportunities and develop strategic partnerships.
  2. Customer Engagement: Engage with stakeholders to comprehend their critical business needs and objectives.
  3. Solution Creation: Lead the creation and execution of solutions that align with clients' goals.
  4. Customer Loyalty: Focus on enhancing customer loyalty and executing impactful corporate initiatives.

Qualifications:

  1. Reside in the specified market area for hybrid work requirements.
  2. At least 8 years of B2B sales experience targeting Fortune 500 companies, with no more than 3 job changes in the last 10 years.
  3. Proven track record of new business development in marketing solutions or professional services.
  4. Experience closing high-volume sales ($250k+ per sale) and managing diverse sales cycles (3 to 12 months).
  5. Compensation is commission-driven with significant earning potential.
  6. A four-year college degree is preferred.

Compensation: We offer a base salary of $120,000 CAD with the potential to earn up to $160,000 in the first year through activity bonuses and commissions.
