About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join our team at CAE. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a critical role in supporting the strategic objectives of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide labor relations support for a manufacturing employee group of 500 employees, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies to align company objectives with those of employees and management in designated divisions.
  • Collaborate with management teams to identify workforce issues and develop solutions to address operational challenges.
  • Coach managers in the management of their HR, providing guidance on talent management, engagement, compensation and benefits, performance management, and change management.
  • Participate in collective agreement negotiations and provide recommendations to encourage employee mobilization.
  • Advise department head management teams on HR programs, policies, and procedures, ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Deploy corporate programs and initiatives within client groups, promoting a culture of innovation and excellence.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field.
  • 10 years of experience as a Human Resources business partner, with a strong background in labor relations and collective agreement negotiation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team and exercise professional and emotional maturity.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to act as an internal advisor and coach for management teams and employees.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers at all levels of the business.
  • Mastery of the MS Office suite and HRIS systems.
