About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef Assistant to join our team at Passage to India Restaurant.

Responsibilities
  • Cook and prepare meals for customers, ensuring dishes meet high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Assist in managing kitchen operations, including supervising staff and ordering supplies.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Develop and implement menu items, considering dietary restrictions and customer preferences.
  • Collaborate with chefs to create innovative dishes and specials.
  • Train and mentor junior staff members, sharing knowledge and expertise.
Requirements
  • Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a line cook or chef assistant.
  • Excellent cooking skills and knowledge of kitchen operations.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Able to work well under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor during peak periods.
