About Our Opportunity
African Nova Scotian Affairs is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Director to lead the Land Titles Initiative program. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and direction for the delivery of all aspects of the program, ensuring that it meets the needs of the African Nova Scotian community and aligns with the goals of the province.
Primary Accountabilities
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of reporting and accountability mechanisms to ensure that the program meets the requirements and expectations of the Department.
- Lead and monitor the compliance of programs by analyzing reports and preparing summary and briefings to senior leadership.
- Administer the Land Titles Clarification Act and perform other duties as designated by the Minister.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with provincial, federal, and international governments, partners, and organizations.
- Lead the development and operation of internal and external communications systems.
- Deliver expert research, analysis, consultation, and advice on project issues.
- Make significant improvements to business performance by recommending technical and professional solutions.
Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Commerce, Political Science, or Public Administration, and several years of progressive, senior-level management experience. A law degree is an asset. You will also have demonstrated knowledge of leading large-scale change in a complex stakeholder environment and possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
