Job Summary:

The Field Quality Manager is responsible for improving customer satisfaction by reducing downtime and improving fixed right the first time in the eyes of the customer. This role will proactively monitor, investigate, and report product quality as well as the effectiveness of product improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and investigate product quality concerns and report confirmed concerns through Subaru Corporation's Technical Reporting System.
  • Lead root cause field investigations, independently or with parent company personnel, as required.
  • Facilitate Quick Response Activity and other Quality issues investigations in conjunction with Subaru Corporation and affiliates.
  • Provide technical support for District After Sales Managers regarding warranty decisions as required.
  • Attend training offered by NASI, SCI, or SOA as required.

Requirements:

  • Superior automotive diagnostics skills.
  • Proven ability to negotiate and resolve owner concerns consistent with corporate policies and procedures.
  • Strong PC skills, including Microsoft applications.
  • Professionalism and integrity.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Technician, OEM Corporate experience an asset.
  • Post-secondary education preferred.
