Food Service Manager

Mr. Chips Fish Place is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service areas.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead and manage a team of food preparation and service staff to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Train and Develop Staff: Provide training and guidance to staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge in food preparation, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all food and service meet our high quality standards, and address any customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to optimize inventory levels and minimize waste.
- Reporting and Scheduling: Prepare and submit reports on a regular basis, and establish work schedules to ensure efficient use of staff and resources.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with noisy conditions.
- Work Setting: Restaurant setting with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Physical Capabilities: Standing for extended periods and walking.
- Personal Suitability: Excellent interpersonal skills, efficient communication, and a team player attitude.
- Duration: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
