Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Denny's Restaurants. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food is prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner.
- Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
- Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
- Hire and Manage Staff: Hire and manage food service staff, ensuring that they are motivated and equipped to provide excellent customer service.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers.
- Record Keeping: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for future planning and decision-making.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit reports on food service operations, providing management with valuable insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Language: English.
Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment with a high volume of customers. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be required to work in a noisy environment and be able to multitask effectively.
